Professor in the School of Life Science,Peking University,graducatde from the School of Life Sciences, Shandong University, majoring in Biotechnology (Life Science Base) in June 2008. From September 2008 to January 2015, pursued a doctoral degree at the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision of Professor Jianping Ding. The research focused on the molecular mechanisms of small G protein Rab GTPases involved in membrane vesicle transport during endocytosis using X-ray crystallography.From February 2015 to June 2019, conducted postdoctoral research in the lab of Professor Jue Chen at The Rockefeller University in the United States. Employed single-particle Cryo-EM technology to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the anion channel function of the CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane conductance Regulator) protein. Additionally, identified binding sites of two drugs used in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis on this protein for the first time.In July 2019, officially joined the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, and the PKU-Tsinghua Joint Center for Life Sciences as a researcher. Established the Laboratory of Membrane Biology and Biophysics, focusing on membrane biology and biophysics research.
